Our Lady Peace and 30'000 Haligonians made for a very happy Canada Day celebration in Halifax on June 30th. You couldn't ask for a more amazing set, pumped full of energetic new songs from "Gravity", such as crowd surfer pleasing "Not Enough" and the much shouted for "Innocent." All 5 albums were honored during the 90 minute set, including the classic concert sing along tunes "4am" (Clumsy) and "Is Anybody Home" (Hapiness...), as well as the mosh-inducing "Starseed" (Naveed) and "Right Behind You" (Spiritual Machines).

Judging from the crowd's reaction (and the number of bruises on my tummy from being squished into the security railing) "Innocent" is sure to be a big hit. However, the highlight of the evening was, without a doubt, Raine climbing the stage equipment (which seems to be becoming a habit of his...), complete with Canadian flag, for "One Man Army". These boys sure know how to put on a show, with new guitarist Steve Mazur not missing a beat. Our Lady Peace live, is definitely Our Lady Peace at their best.
