Hello, OUR LADY PEACER, here I just want to say, OLP kicks some serious ass! I went to Summersault in Barrie and it was amazing, every single band was excellent-not to mention OLP. I really feel sorry for the people that just buy OLP's CD's because they think Raine is hot-(or whatever). I'm DEFINATLY not saying that the guy's of OLP are not amazingly gorgeous, but that OLP should be recodnized for their music-NOT for the way that th ey look!! Our Lady Peace rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've seen them twice(with IME and at Edgefest 97 in Ottawa) I love their music and especially their lyrics. 4am is amazing. I went to see OLP in Barrie and that was the best thing that i did all summer. The show kicked ass and it was definitely worth standing int he rain for 12 hours for. I love OLP!!!!

HEY OLP: I was just at SummerSault '98 on Sunday August 23rd! And what I have to say about you guys is so great! You guys Kicked Ass! I have never before went to a concert, except small useless ones, and SummerSault was the best concert performance I h ave ever seen in my life. Your live performance is way better than your actual recording! It Sounds so much better! What I liked about you guys playing at SummerSault was the crowd surfing! I am just a little guy, and I actually went crowd surfing! And don't you think I was scared? Just being in the mosh pit was scary enough! I had backstage passes to see Summersault in Barrie. I went and it totally kicked butt but I have to a saw i think Garbage was much better then OLP, Mainly because Raine wasn't as into it as he should have been and Sher maison was much more into the cr owd. It still rocked thought!!!!

I think OLP are the best canadian band to ever emerge. They are my favourite band and will be for a very long time. I've seen them in concert before and will be seeing them again on the 23rd of August. Every time I hear Raine belting out some lyrics , Jeremy beating on the drums, Mike workin his guitar, and Duncan on the base, I completely stop what I'm doing and just watch and or listen. They always seem to give off a powerful energy that I as a fan enjoy, after any song I hear I become pumped and a lways want to hear them again and again. I think MuchMusic does a great job of advertising OLP and I look forward to their new release sometime this or next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a refreshing feeling to find myself tuned into MuchMusic one afternoon, absolutely riveted by Raine's vocal meanderings and be thinking to myself, "Thank you Media One Cable Company for bringing this into my living room." Being in a place where local musicians are not only more talented, accessable, and appreciative than most "known" acts, my attention is rarely piqued by a song I hear on the radio or on TV. I love OLP cuz they're impossible to sing along to! Just kidding. I think you guys all know how incredible they are, and how you throw away all your other albums sometimes, when you listen to them, and you sometimes force yourself to listen to one of your "favorite" bands, and really, you want to be listening to OLP, and you never get sick of it. And last tuesday I was trying to go to a OLP show, but I had no money, then I got a job Tuesday at 2:00 AM!! But it was too late, I had no way of getting there. So I'm praying they come back... but the cool thing is I'm satisfied listening to their CDs!

I read that sex symbol quote from Mike about and I'm a 13 year old girl (and so is Nellie the girl that posted earlier on this page) and there are many girls out there who just think that Raine is hot or something but not all of us are like that. I may not understand all of their lyrics in their full form but I have a pretty good idea of what they mean in my own words. I also think that all lyrics should have a totally different meaning for different people. So, all of you stupid teeny-bopper Raine is so hot dink faces out there I have one thing to say. STOP IT!
