We got to our seats , which were positioned directly in front of Duncan. I was so psyched to have these seats, as they would be the closest actual seats I have ever had at an OLP concert. Well, no one told me that these seats would be COMPLETELY obstructed by the camera man who was providing footage for the video screens. This was so unfair, but I guess fans stuck on the general admission lawn had to see the show somehow. All of my anger went away as soon as I heard the opening chords of Automatic Flowers! My girlfriend and I were singing right along, getting a thumbs up sign from Duncan! The show was amazing, as they always are. I felt bad, because there were only a handful of OLP fans there, and there were a few people near us actually were booing. The set was intense and the guys were tight yet again. I wished that more people paid attention, instead of just waiting for Third Eye Blind.

   After the show, I managed to say hello to Roger, the band's road manager, who recognized my girlfriend and I from the NYC and CT shows. He said that he and the band were a little tired, and they should be for doing like 5 or 6 shows in a week. As tired as they may have been, the live show never showed it at all! Thanks OLP for a wonderful summer tour, even though it wasn't your own! Can't wait for Summersault!!
