First off, let me say that the concert was awesome!! I was so blown away by all of the performances. Okay, so anyway, we get there, wait in line for an HOUR for them to open the freaking ampitheatre. A group of people walk past us to go to the "Backstage Barbecue," which was a thing where you had a 'chance' to meet the bands (I don't think 3eb even showed up). Anyway, Jessie and I walk closer to the stage and I look over at a thing that is surrounded by signs that say "The X at 105.9" and I say to Jessie, "I bet that's the backstage barbecue!" So I walk a little closer, and I'm like, "That guy looks like Duncan!!!" And she goes, "No way." And she was too chicken to walk any closer, so I walk over a little more and begin to gape at Raine and Jeremy and Duncan (I didn't see Mike, but that's because he shaved off his platinum blonde hair, and now it's really short and dark brown and he has a little bit of a goatee). Raine was wearing his dorky Huckleberry Finn hat and laughing at something. I was in utter shock. Jessie refused to come over, but she finally walked near them to buy a t-shirt. I was still gaping in the direction of the barbecue, because while Jessie was being a chicken, Duncan walked past me (he had to be about 10 feet from me) and he looked over at me and smiled. I was spazzing out and Jessie was rolling her eyes and everything. The girls next to us had signatures from Eve 6 and OLP and the chick just FOLDS IT UP! I was thinking, "If you're going to abuse the freaking autographs, give them to ME!"

Eve 6 finally comes out and surprisingly enough, they were AWESOME! I mean, utterly amazing for an opening band.

SETLIST: Automatic Flowers/Superman's Dead/Let You Down/Hello Oskar
Car Crash/4 AM/Clumsy/Starseed/Eternal Life

They walked off and I was getting excited. They bring out Jeremy's drum set and start tuning Mike's guitar (which was SOOO awesome! It was clear! Too kewl.) and Raine's guitar from the Naveed video. And they were tuning Duncan's white bass too.

Finally they come out. Raine was wearing a yellow, kind of see through shirt and AWESOME olive green cargo pants. Duncan had a shirt on that says "FUCT" and Mike had this weeeeeeeird shirt with a woman on it. *shrugs* Jeremy was wearing a dark green shirt, I think. The cymbal was RIGHT in front of his face during the whole show. :P Immediately, the girl behind me screamed, "Raine! Have my babies!" Then she proceeded to scream, "Raine! Take off your shirt! Take off your pants!" The girls in front of us are like, "Jesus Christ, shut UP!" and I started laughing. It's no wonder why Raine has back problems. He was getting INTO the songs. He was bent over and thumping his chest to the beat.... and I mean, he was hitting himself HARD. Really hard. He had to leave bruises. I must have taken a thousand pictures of him-- mostly because he was right there and the security guards were like, screaming at me for taking pictures. "NO MORE! NO MORE!" HA! I took 12 more! }:) But I couldn't get good ones of Duncan and Mike cos the guards kept staring at me. :P Halfway through their set, Raine's earphone fell out and was dangling on his chest. The girls behind us were singing loudly and offkey-- I couldn't even hear Raine most of the time. The girls in front of us were like, "You know, I came to hear Our Lady Peace and them only. This is the only reason why I came, and these whores are ruining it." I agreed comepletely-- I didn't pay $20 to hear 3 Raine lovers sing like dying cats.

Our Lady Peace leaves and Mike tries to toss a pick to some guys in the front. He tried earlier in the show too, but missed. He's so sweet. I screamed for Mike and Duncan, but neither looked at me.

I barely paid attention to 3eb, but what I saw was fairly good. Even though I think that Stephen is the biggest, most arrogant jerk that I know.

It was the most amazing, surreal, religious experience I've ever had-- any chance I have to see OLP again, I most certainly will.
