OLP LIVE ON PPV

May 3 - Woodstock.com released a newsbit on Pay-Per-View coverage in the US and Canada. The event will be carried by Direct TV and Viewers Choice in Canada. Don't worry OLP will definitely be featured as Jeff Rowland, executive producer of the Woodstock 99 PPV production has said "Every single band who performs at Woodstock will be seen either live or in rebroadcast". So don't worry OLP will be on PPV and we've heard they will be showcasng new stuff!

IT'S OFFICIAL

April 20 - Our Lady Peace will be playing Woodstock '99. The festival runs from July 23rd to 25th at Griffiss Park in Rome, New York. Tickets and bus packages are all ready on sale at Ticketmaster

Also in Woodstock news you'll be glad to hear that your favourite neighbourhood fan site will be linked from Woodstock.com. And for those who are not lucky enough to head down to Rome, NY to catch OLP's set you can breathe a sigh of relief. According to the Collective Soul Atlantic Records mailing list, Woodstock '99 will be immortalized on Pay-Per-View, home video, CD and also Webcast! So it looks like we'll all be in for a dose of OLP in July which perhaps will give us a sneak peak at the new stuff they've been working away on!

Jam! Music, reports on Woodstock.

WOODSTOCK '99

UPDATE Word has come in from officials at Sony that the commericals and rumours are true and OLP will be playing at Woodstock! We have no idea what day or time slot the organizers will put them in but we'll keep you updated as it comes.

April 16 - A little rumour has been circulating lately and we have it from a reliable source that Our Lady Peace are considering Woodstock '99 in Rome, New York. Other bands already on the bill include: Live, Alanis Morissette, The Offspring, The Tragically Hip, Everlast, Fatboy Slim, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, and many many more.

WELL THERE'S GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS...

APRIL 14/99 - Good news: there's a new report from Raine on olp.com and if you'd like to hear the bad news from him then I suggest you go there before reading any further.

Bad News: There will not be a Summersault '99 but keep your hopes up for Summersault 2000! As Raine explained in his report, the band did not feel they had the time to devote to both the album and the rigors of organizing a tour in three months and accomplish both to their standard. They felt it would be better to concentrate ont he album and holding off Summersault for another year until it can get the attention it needs.

Good News: Work on the album is progressing well and the recording stage is nearing completion.

Bad News: (But nothing to do with the band) Stacy had to reformat her computer recently and lost all of her mail. Including some questions and e-mails about olp.net. If you don't get a response please resend the message :) Thanks!
