.net revamp
Hi everyone,
With an new album on the way we're making a few changes on .net! We're planning a relaunch with new features, and a new design. These changes wont be happening right away, but one of the things you'll notice is that updates will be from me from now on.
Who am I? I'm Stacy, I'm responsible for the updates, design, and pretty much all of the day to day maintenance on the site. While I've been writing the news and updates from the start, the team and I have decided that it would be nice to give the site a more personal side. So from now on, you can expect to hear more about what the band is up to through me. (If you have any interest in who I am and how I got this job, click here, otherwise keep reading)
For example, I went to Duncan's house recently for a meeting (the very meeting which we decided all this in fact!) and while I was there he let me listen to some of the new tracks they've been working on. Not everything I've heard will be on the album, but there were some great songs. I heard some that definitely aren't radio releases, like Car Crash and Stealing Babies, and a couple that caught me right away and I still can't get out of my head.
The guys are enjoying some down time. In November they'll be heading back to the recording studio to finish up the album. You'll hopefully see it on store shelves early next year! Raine is in Sudan with War Child at the moment, Jeremy just finished giving a drum clinic and has been making appearences on 102.1 The Edge in Toronto. Steve is hanging out in LA and Duncan has been spending time at home and working on music.
In the meantime, we can use your help. What would you like to see on the new site? Please keep in mind that the standard stuff that always gets included (photos, lyrics, tour dates, etc are already covered.) We want new ideas if you have them. Even if you have ideas on a unique way that you can work with us we'd love to hear it!
Send your suggestions to [email protected].
If you have any questions or comments for me, my email is [email protected], drop me a line!
Thanks for visiting the site!
