May 7- DON'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ!
The following was transcribed from CFOX's (Vancouver Radio) online website, to our knowledge, the following is false:
Rumours are circulating that Our Lady Peace frontman Raine Maida has become addicted to painkillers as a result of his ongoing back/neck problems. A recent flare-up saw the band cancelling shows in Colorado, and here at the Junos. Raine was on a talk show recently answering questions from fans, when someone asked him about his back. He replied, "It's nothing that a few percodans and morphine won't take care of." O.L.P's management declined to comment on his possible chemical dependency. The band continues to tour the states, where the Clumsy album is doing well on the charts.
