02/10/2003 - "Touring In Canada"

Here we are on our last day in Canada, and we have to say that we have heavy hearts, collectively. The past two weeks have been the most amazing we have experienced in a long time. After being given a bottle of Champagne by Our Lady Peace on the first night, we felt at home and comfortable. And of course, who can forget our new brothers, and label mates, finger eleven. We have been welcomed in and accepted by everyone who is Canadian, and for that we are eternally grateful. Thank you all.

We must go back to America tonight and we are kind of separated in our emotions. Happiness, in the sense of going back to familiar territory, and severe melancholy, at the thought of leaving behind the most amazing people in this fucked up industry.

We love Canada, let it be known, and we might consider the possibility of moving here in the not too distant future. Why? Because the people are fucking incredible, and gracious, and ultimately beautiful! And we have found a band of brothers within finger eleven, which will last any test we may have to face in future. The joy of having been in the company of such incredible talent has left us completely in awe. We love you, Canada, and we will be back as soon as we can. You have made us comfortable and welcome every step of the way.

But I must say this; the fucking cold weather here has been an incredible experience. In truth, the cold fucking sucks. And the novelty has finally worn off.

See you in summer mother-fuckers! Thanks for making this tour an experience to remember, and for giving us memories we will never be able to forget. ROCK THE FUCK ON!!!
