: : : Okay canadians, here is the deal. I love OLP, they are one of my favorite bands, but they hit the US too late. I like them and most likely always will, but the main-stream here is changing. Alternative is about to be out, I hate it but it is. Hip-hop is really big now, and some rock bads are kinda-sorta going that way. Thus, we are getting Korn and Limp Bizcuit are getting into the main-steam. Also, techno is now finally coming on here. This really sux, but that is what is going on, also, OLP has no MTV airplay, that really helps. So unless they get alot of radio airplay, no one will ever here of them. They put on one of the best showes I have ever seen, I saw then with Eve 6 and 3EB at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. They kicked ass, they are really only second in show to Creed that I have ever seen. But, most Americans have never heard of them, and I am afraid (unless thier management really workes hard) they never will.

: : maybe that is the case, but ya can't just sit on your ass and let it happen, i mean, yeh, it probably will happen, but if the alternative fans keep *to their roots* (me gad, i should go into ministry...) i don't think that it is going to happen as badly as it might... and this is just my biost canadian view of a (very) small-towner where most people are 6 months behind the music scence anyway... i don't care if pop takes over, i am going to keep on being myself, and keep on listening to my alternative music, and not give a shit what anybody else thinks about me. (most of the time i do that anyway, so it won't be any different)
: Yea....people in America have gone ga-ga over tenny-bopper bands!!! It'sickning!!! BUT, if MTV would play some damn rock music, then we wouldn't have to worry so much. Also, OLP isn't getting any airplay on radio stations, I keep reqesting and reqesting but they never play them. That's why I'm moving to Toronto so I can be closer to the best fucking band in the world!!!!!
