Greetings!
We're on the road! My cell phone doesn't want to connect to the net right now so I thought I'd write some Journals over the trip and upload them when we get somewhere with a signal.
We left at about 4:00 pm on Sunday after noon. Kelowna is about a 60 hour drive from here so this is where we'll be spending 23+ hours a day for a while. Tanya and I are Traveling on the Seether street team bus with the rest of the Street Team. If you're heading to any other shows, you Might see Ric, Nick and Nina handing out stickers flyers and CDs - say hi!
After we loaded up the bus with our luggage and supplies, we were on the road. We just stopped at Tim Horton's for some dinner, so I thought I'd take a few minutes to write this up. It's been a long day getting all the last minute things together, so I'm looking forward to getting some sleep, hopefully I'll be able to get some while we're driving.

I was sleeping when we went through Winnipeg, so I missed my chance to hook up and upload some Journals. I'll have to wait until we get to Calgary to give it another shot. We're making excellent time, and the bus driver thinks we might get to Kelowna by 1:00 am. After all this time I'm really looking forward to checking into a hotel, getting a nice long hot shower and a real meal!
We're in Saskatchewan at the moment. It's very flat. It's about 10:30 am local time (11:30 for you eastern folks). So far the drive has been uneventful. The bus is really comfortable! Very well thought out so you can actually get away from people and we're not all in each others faces constantly unless we want to be.
The bunks are very comfy too surprisingly. I slept like the dead last night, and Tanya is swearing by them as well.
We finally got the satellite working on the TV in the front, so we're watching Tool Time and numbering postcards. We'll be giving away a bunch of these at each show. We'll be calling one of the numbers to give front row tickets to, so watch out for them!

We're in Alberta and still making amazing time so we'll be in Kelowna tonight! I love the bus and all, but I can wait to get out and stretch my legs for more than 20 minutes.
We stopped as we were heading into the Rockies for some photos. My god they're beautiful. I once drove to BC with my family but I was about 4 years old and I don't remember much. I never expected them to be this amazing!

Ahhhh shower! I don't think I've ever enjoyed a shower than much in my entire life! We checked into our hotel last night and finally got some internet access. I just checked my mail and passed out for the most part. I still felt like I was driving for about an hour.
We've known about the tour since early December, but I've been so busy making the fearofthetrailerpark.com site, packing and getting everything together, it really hasn't had time to sink in. When we drove by the venue and pulled into the hotel it seemed real for the first time. I can't wait for the first show!
Today is an off day so we'll be exploring Kelowna. I think the snow is following us because it was really mild when we got here last night and now they're calling for about 15 cm. Ah well, for those of you who have gone to a couple of shows on OLP's Canadian tour you know that the snow and cold are all part of the fun!
First on our list is to find a tattoo parlor. Tanya and I have decided to get something small to commemorate the tour. Wish us luck! I'll be back with pictures!
