01/22/2003 - "On The Road"

It�s about 11am, so far everything has been going fantastic. The bus is beautiful, and extremely comfortable. Our bus-mates are all nice, we seem to be getting along great. At the moment we are driving through Saskatchewan. The view is mostly prairies and farm land, but with the blanket of snow that is covering the country side is all spectacular. We are hoping to get into Kelowna late tonight if the weather holds up. The whole trip thus far has been really relaxing. I�ve been able to get some great sleep (better then I thought I would) Like I said before this bus is super comfortable! I�m not sure of what kind of touristy things we will be able to do in all the cities, but I hope we get to at least see more then the venues.

It�s now about 5pm (eastern time) and we have reached to Rocky Mountains. Holy Shit!! These mountains are gorgeous! We just stopped at a overlook area, and took some really cool pictures of the mountains. It�s sooo cold outside, but it was worth getting off the bus to capture some pictures on film. Now it�s time for some hot tea and a bit of vegging out.

WOO HOOO!! We are in Kelowna, BC. We made it safe and sound really late last night. Right now we are hanging out in our hotel room, watching the snow outside. Today is a �day off� for us. We have to get caught up on our web work and updates, but other than that, we are hoping to do a bit of exploring. I have never been to the west coast, much less the west coast of Canada (for those who don�t know, I�m from Virginia U.S.) so for me this whole trip is very exciting. I know I�ll end up doing the whole tourist thing, my camera will be with me at all times. Stace and I have also discussed possibly getting a �souvenir� tattoo to remember the trip by. I�m thinking of a tiny music note on my foot. If we do, we�ll put up pictures so you all can experience our insanity.
