02/01/2003 - "Winnipeg Arena - Home of the Manitoba Moose Hockey Club"
by Tanya

Being the Hockey fan that I am and the fact that the Moose is in the same hockey league as a team back home, this was a fun venue for me to see. Granted all of the stadiums that we have been too are homes of hockey teams, its just that Ive seen this team play live before. Anyway for me it was cool. It was probably a good thing that their pro shop was closed though, I could have spent way too much cash in there. The set up for the show was neat, this venue has very tall walls with seats as far up as you can see, the place seemed small until all the fans started cheering, thats when you knew you had a ton of people there. The show last night was a great one, all 3 bands got a good reception and seemed to be really into it. Even though Jeremy and Steve of OLP were both feeling under the weather. (I really hope their cold bug doesnt get to the rest of us) But from their performance I would have never known if they didnt tell us. Other then the batteries going dead in the camcorder 3 songs into OLPs set and not having the extra one with us, the night went great. We had a quick meeting with a few of the guys to go over site content. They are liking all the stuff we are doing so far. =o) Today is another day off for the tour. We are presently in Thunder Bay, ON. Tomorrow Seether and Finger Eleven have another club show here, and we are hoping to shoot that one too. Stace and I are just trying like mad to get content together and put it up on the site for all of you. Sometimes its not an easy task, but we are troopers and will get it all done no matter what. Now its time for this chick to get some dinner.

Till next time,

Tanya =o)
