07/29/2002 - "Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Elbow"

I hope everyone is well.

Gabriel Garcia Marquez is my new favourite author. Never have I come across insight as inspiring as his. His most famous work is "100 years of solitude" but you should go and buy anything you can find from Marquez. He is actually quite ill right now, he has cancer.

I've really been getting into this new band named "elbow". Trippy, atmospheric and powerful. The new Flaming Lips cd is completely whack! they are brilliant.
