: Hey there folks! Its that time again, where we all get to play a guessing game! Its called the who the hells on the Edgefest tour!? Here are my predictions:
: LIKELY PROSPECTS
: **********************************************
: The Tea Party- Promoting their new album Triptych.
: Sloan- Look for them to be pimpin their double-live album
: Hole- making up for lost canadian dates
: Wide Mouth Mason- promoting their new album
: Goo Goo Dolls- Almost a lock if you ask me. They have played 1 Toronto Date at the GODDAMM PHOENIX. After cancelling a Hamilton show how could they not?
: Finger 11- maybe 2nd stage, look for them to disappear after this tour, they could also be SS maybes
: IME- I'm not sure if they would do both Edgefest and SS, but I think they are more likely to do Edgefest because it will be closest to their release date, 2nd stage material as well.
: Watchmen- perhaps the heros from Winnipeg will make it to main stage this year?
: OffSpring- These guys haven't spent too much time in canada, look for them to fill the Green Day void. The more I think about it the more it makes sense.
: LONGSHOTS AND FANTASIES
: *************************************************
: Stabbing WestWard- A Longshot, but since they can't yet do an arena, perhaps they'd like to score a HUGE audience by doing the tour. I dunno...
: Chris Cornell- I'd blow my wad...he does have a new album coming out but this one is definitely a fantasy.
: BUSH- a longshot, but just the band Universal would sign to rop in those TB's.
: R.E.M.- They said they'd be touring this year...We can all have a dream can't we?
: Everlast or The Flys- I'm guessing one of the two may round out the main stage, but this may be a bit of a leap....still won't match Creed though :(
: **************************************************
: Respond if you think I missed any...
where do you think it'll go in canada?? probably a little bit too wishfull to hope for a maritimes spot...
