10/07/2002 - "head rush"

there is a lot of excitement rushing around my brain right now. this Saturday OLP is going back into a studio in Los Angeles with Bob Rock to finish 2 songs that did not make the gravity record. they are both riff based songs that "rock" . they probably sound closer to "whatever" than anything else. i'm actually taking a break from finishing lyrics for the songs to write this entry. started to get a little tunnelvision so the break was needed.

i can't tell you where you will hear these 2 songs...

- there is a potential soundtrack upcoming that one might be on
- we're also talking about alternative means to get the songs out there

i can promise you this...once the songs are finished being recorded we will definitely preview them live...and soon!!!

i'm also excited and proud to announce the first official signing to "Foundationn Records." Foundationn is a record company i started to help develop young talented bands and artists. give a little wisdom back... it wasn't too long ago that OLP were doing demos trying to get a deal. the first band i signed is called evelyn weird. they are from texas and ooze talent. we start in the studio on monday for 5 days. as soon as the first few songs are done i will be putting them up on the foundationnrecords.com website (which is currently under construction) can't wait to get some feedback from
