Wednesday February 2nd/00-Okay well for those of you who weren't there last night, the OLP show in Toronto was AMAZING!!! Look for reviews and pictures from Mike and I (Sara) in the next couple of weeks! But I actually am updating for other news. Tuesday January 13th- Well the I&I; has been confirmed
on MUCH! Its been confirmed by the band! Its been confirmed by pretty much everyone... except
muchmusic.com and olp.com say nothing about it....weird. Anyway its a go! Heres the latest OLP news:

SCALED! In another unique development related to the Scaled tour, it seems local radio stations have been broadasting some of the shows! Keep your ears open to find out when your local radio stations might broadcast the performance! OLP also reportedly recorded a special track for Virgin record stores that will be made available later! Who knows? Maybe they're recording all the shows for a possible 'Unplugged' album?! That should get the rumour mill going! Ticket info for this tour has been unusually scarce, we will try to update you with all the info we can find, but to be honest we don't know anything yet...some radio stations are having exclusive contests, other tickets are being given away. It just seems like a short promo tour of the US.

busting folks! The rumour mill is churning today, and I like what its spitting out! However whats good
for myself and other OLP fans unfortunately come at the expense of fans in Grand Rapids, I received this
e-mail this morning:

Here is the email i got from the venue...
"The OLP show is NOT going to happen. Apparantly, the band is going to
bypass Grand Rapids in order to do a Much Music television show.
Sorry."
Subject: Hot Off The Wire - Read This! Now I must stress this is unofficial, god knows how many times we've heard rumblings of an OLP I&I.; For those not aware of the Intimate and Interactive concept you should know that Much do these specials from time to time (Spice Girls, Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, No Doubt, 98 Degrees, Sloan have done them). Basically its one huge Q&A; session with questions asked by fans in the studio, the much VJ, from e-mails on the internet, and phone-ins. The band will play 4 or 5 live songs in front of an incredibly lucky studio audience! These specials are usually 2 or 3 hours long so it is extremely thorough and an extensive LIVE special! Didn't I mention it was LIVE!? In any case it is the ultimate special! If that weren't enough our own Rick Moore has dug up some exclusive information on a March UK tour! Here is what Rick sent in from Kerrrang magazine "OUR LADY PEACE release their debut UK single, 'One Man Army', this week. A second single will be released to coincide with a full UK headline tour in March. The quartet are also planning to tour the US with the Stereophonics as their special guests, returning the favour that the Welsh trio did them in the UK last month". Tuesday January 4th- Members of the official OLP mailing list, the "Transparent Humans" have just been sent a e-mail with regards to a new contest. Here's all the info - TH is glad to announce a new CONTEST to give away 2 pairs of tickets for each show on the "Scaled Tour". In addition, the winners will also receive a limited edition CD Single of "Is Anybody Home?" recorded live from the "Scaled Tour". Here are the rules for the contest. Please READ them carefully. 1. All entries must be dated between NOON EST Tuesday [1/4] and NOON EST Thursday [1/6]. Any entry not dated during this time frame will be invalid. 2. Two winners will be randomly selected for each show from the correct entries. 3. Only one entry per person. If you send in more than one entry, you will be disqualified. 4. All entries MUST BE sent to [email protected]. If you send your entry to any other address, it will be ignored. 5. You must be able to provide your own transportation to the concert. 6. You must be of age to attend the concert you select. 7. Finally, you must be a member of TH as of January 3, 2000. A correct entry consists of the following:
